What does confidence feel like to you? 🤔


First, let's distinguish between Confidence and Self-Confidence because I think we use the terms interchangeably, but they are different.


Confidence is when you've done something previously, so you know you can do it again. 🌟I've lost weight many times, so I'm confident I know how to lose weight and I can do it again. I have evidence to prove it!🌟


Self-Confidence is believing that you are capable of doing something new, because you are secure in yourself and your abilities, without any evidence. It's trusting yourself enough to know that you will be alright, even if you fail. It's earning self-respect from keeping your word to yourself and doing what you say you will do. 🌟I have self-confidence that I can keep the weight off for good now that I'm doing hypnosis and coaching.🌟


Many times we need to change our BELIEFS in order to have self-confidence.


What are beliefs? 🙌


Our beliefs are just thoughts we have over and over again to the point that they become part of us. Almost automatic. And they really feel like unchangeable facts. (But they can change!)


Too frequently our beliefs about ourselves come from the outside world. People have told us something about ourselves and we have taken it to heart. And, thanks to the good ole "negativity bias" in our brains (which is there to protect us), we tend to focus on and remember the negative things people say.


The good new is that our beliefs are just thoughts. And once you learn how to manage your mind, you learn how to choose the thoughts that serve you best.


How do you change your thoughts? 💡


☑️ Repetition. This is why mantras work so well. Keep repeating what you want to believe.

☑️ Hypnosis. Go right to the source - the subconscious mind and rewire the beliefs to more accurately reflect reality and your highest good.
